Every bookcase is handmade to order in our UK workshop using FSC-certified Redwood Pine - a durable, high-grade timber chosen for its strength and natural beauty. We use clean, kiln-dried solid pine, professionally prepared to give a smoother, more refined finish while still retaining its natural character. Unlike reclaimed scaffold boards, it offers consistent quality, a cleaner look, and long-term stability indoors.

The wood is cut to size, sanded smooth, and finished with a protective wood wax.

We work with real, solid timber - not laminated board or reclaimed scaffold planks. Every piece will feature unique grain patterns and natural characteristics like knots, sap pockets, imperfections, small shakes and minor splits. These are part of the wood’s natural charm and do not affect its structural integrity.
